# Bundled fonts

Every font here is licensed under the **SIL Open Font License 1.1** and is
shipped **unmodified** (no subsetting, renaming or instancing), so the
fonts' Reserved Font Names stay valid. Each font's copyright notice and the
full license text are in `licenses/`. The OFL allows bundling these fonts
with software and using them to make artwork: the cut files Monumize
produces are artwork made with the fonts, not copies of the font software.

Keep this folder identical in `python/fonts/` and `public/fonts/`.

Rules for adding a font: OFL or Apache 2.0 only; download the official
release file; do not subset, rename or edit it; add its license file here;
never use a proprietary font or a proprietary font's name.
